Overview
We are looking for a Permitting Manager, a key role in managing permits and licenses related to environmental regulations for our exciting Medusa Submarine Cable project. We seek a committed professional with solid knowledge of national and international environmental legislation and experience in permit management and regulatory compliance.
Responsibilities
Your responsibilities will include ensuring compliance with environmental laws, evaluating environmental studies, maintaining strong relationships with regulatory bodies, and supporting our multidisciplinary teams, actively contributing to the project's success.
Job Requirements
- Degree in Environmental Science, Law, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in environmental permitting and regulatory compliance.
- Previous experience in large-scale infrastructure projects, preferably in the telecommunications or energy sector.
- Deep knowledge of national and international environmental regulations.
- Experience managing Environmental Impact Assessments (EIA) and other regulatory studies.
- Familiarity with permitting processes for subsea cables, energy projects, or large infrastructure is a plus.
- Ability to liaise with government agencies and regulatory bodies.
- Proficiency in English. Spanish and French or other languages are a plus.
- Willingness to travel occasionally for meetings with regulatory authorities and project stakeholders.
